Sunlight appoints new Board Member Sabine Bendiek as an Independent Non-Executive Director

Sunlight Group a subsidiary of Olympia, appoints New Board Member Sabine Bendiek as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Sabine Bendiek brings over 20 years of expertise in technology and general management to the Sunlight Board of Directors, and her proven ability to lead and transform large organizations, along with her extensive background in go-to-market strategy, sales, people, and operations, uniquely positions her to drive Sunlight's strategic vision forward.

In her career, Sabine Bendiek has contributed significantly to leading organizations in driving strategic initiatives and business transformations and has been responsible for teams up to 7,000 employees globally. She began her career in 1988 at Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems AG, where she acquired diverse responsibilities over eight years, including roles such as Controller R&D, International Marketing & SW Support for Banking Products, and Program Manager for the Financial Services Industry.  Sabine Bendiek's career path includes significant roles at McKinsey & Company in Hamburg, Earlybird Venture Capital, Dell Corporation, in London and Frankfurt. From 2011 to 2015, Ms. Bendiek served as General Manager (Germany) and Vice President at EMC Corporation, leading strategic transformations. In 2016, she assumed the role of Chair of the Executive Board/General Manager Germany and Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Deutschland GmbH, where she drove substantial revenue growth and facilitated the company's shift towards cloud subscriptions until December 2021.

From 2021 to 2023, Sabine Bendiek served as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief People and Operations Officer at SAP SE in Walldorf, Germany, leading transformative changes in compensation, benefits, and advancing the company's cloud and digital initiatives. Since 2018, she has also been a Non-Executive Director on the board of Schaeffler AG, a global leader in automotive and industrial innovation.
