Mariella Röhm-Kottmann Appointed as Chief Financial Officer to drive excellence and sustainable growth

Sunlight Group proudly announces the appointment of Mariella Röhm-Kottmann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the company's financial operations, strategy and ESG initiatives so as to ensure long-term sustainable profitability and steer towards continued success.

Mariella brings to the role an extensive background and expertise in finance spanning over 30 years across various industries. Prior to joining Sunlight, she served as the Senior Vice President Finance at ZF Group, a global automotive supplier with revenues exceeding 40 billion euros, where she oversaw global accounting and reporting, risk and controls management, and Global Shared Services. Her role also involved significant contributions to post-merger integration (PMI) and transformation projects, showcasing her strategic acumen and leadership capabilities. Prior to her role at ZF Group, Mariella spent 14 years as an audit partner at KPMG, auditing and advising international corporations and companies. Mariella holds a degree in economics engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and is a certified tax advisor and chartered accountant in Germany. Furthermore, she holds positions as member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee for two prominent German listed companies. These include Zalando SE, a DAX 40 listed company, European e-Commerce Market Leader and Platform provider for Fashion and Beauty, with revenues surpassing €10 billion and Siltronic AG, an M-DAX listed corporation renowned as one of the world’s leading producers of hyperpure silicon wafers and trusted partner to many major semiconductor manufacturers for decades.
